    American Behavioral provides both Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services and Behavioral Health Care services through client corporations and other health plans. The EAP offers assistance with a variety of work/life issues including family and marital, mental health and substance assessment and referral, as well as legal, financial, child care and elder care referral services. The behavioral health care services are for clinical conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, and substance abuse treatment.

We pride ourselves in the relationships that we establish and maintain with our panel of providers. It is the primary goal of our Provider Relations Department to ensure your needs are met while guaranteeing our members receive the highest quality of care available.     The EAP is a counseling and referral service for all employees and their dependents who need help in any of the following areas: emotional problems, marital and family issues, alcohol and other drug dependency assessment, stress related issues, and financial/legal referrals.
