American Behavioral evaluates and is currently informed of the developments of regulations issued by the Department of Health and Human Services regarding Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). We have an identified Compliance Officer who monitors and implements any material changes to HIPAA regulations, so as to ensure Quality Management of PHI.
